Terms & Agreements

Please Read Before Using Our Service!

You are agreeing to have a telemedicine consultation. Telemedicine is the practice of medicine using electronic communications technologies. Telemedicine consultation services are provided by the following One Med network providers. When you use these telemedicine consultation services, you will enter into a provider-patient relationship and receive services from a licensed provider in Belize. Providers, in the exercise of their professional judgment, reserve the right to deny care for any reason, including cases where the provision of care would be medically or ethically inappropriate.

Receiving treatment through a telemedicine visit offers certain expected benefits and comes with certain potential risks. Expected benefits include easier and faster access to health care, and the ability to access care from multiple locations. For example, you can start a remote exam from home instead of waiting to schedule one. Potential risks include the remote doctor not being able to fully resolve your issue over the phone and the doctor not having access to your complete medical records. These situations may, on rare occasions, result in allergic reactions or other adverse drug interactions. You have other care options. You can receive care in a traditional face-to-face care setting.

By agreeing to a telemedicine consultation, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these benefits, risks, and alternatives, and you agree to consent to a telemedicine consultation. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by ending the telemedicine consultation session. By agreeing to a telemedicine consultation, you acknowledge that you have received and read the One Med Legal Disclaimer.
